Alfredo Kengi Kojima

Alfredo Kojima has graduated the Computer Science course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in July/2000. He has been involved in projects mainly related with GUIs, such as AfterStep and a configuration tool for it, a few GUI toolkit hacks, and Window Maker. Since he has started working at Conectiva, he began working on the port of APT to RPM and a new GUI frontend for APT, Synaptic. Interests include human-computer interfaces, usability, programming in graphical environments and object oriented programming (in Objective C, not C++). He's also a bit interested in experimental/animal psychology; not that he knows much about that, but he enjoys reading some related stuff.
