SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol, RFC 2960)

SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol, RFC 2960) is a reliable message-oriented protocol with transparent support for multihoming. We provide an overview of the protocol, the UDP-style API and the details of the reference kernel implementation, a module for Linux. The API discussion is intended for developers wishing to use SCTP. The implemntation discussion is for developers interested in contributing to the kernel development effort.
