Maximizing your Use of CVS

The Concurrent Versions System (CVS) has become the dominant open-source version control system, yet many developers are not yet comfortable working with CVS. This session will briefly touch on the basic usage of CVS but then spend the majority of time exploring advanced topics that can help you maximize your use of CVS.

Topics will include: logging, history and annotation, watch lists, branching, repository structure, keywork expansion, web interfaces, and troubleshooting. Attendees will leave with enough information to better utilize CVS in their development, documentation or web site project.
