Joseph Schuchart

Joseph Schuchart is a research assistant working with the energy-efficiency research group at the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH) of the Technische Universit├Ąt Dresden, Germany. His main research topic is performance analysis of parallel applications in the area of High Performance Computing (HPC) where he has been involved in the development of the performance measurement infrastructures VampirTrace and Score-P. During the last year, Joseph Schuchart worked at the Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL) where he supported domain scientists in analyzing their parallel applications on the Titan supercomputer and conducted research in the field of scalable performance measurements. Furthermore, he was involved in the development of patches to the Linux perf tool and research on using this infrastructure for scalable performance analysis on Linux.
