Augusto Oliveira

Augusto Born de Oliveira (a3oliveira@uwaterloo.ca): Augusto Born de Oliveira received his B.Sc. from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, having done multiple research assistantships. He subsequently received his M.Eng. from the department of Systems and Automation Engineering of that same university. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Waterloo, and his researching performance evaluation, including computer performance debugging and prediction.

Jean-Christophe Petkovich (j2petkov@uwaterloo.ca): Jean-Christophe Petkovich received his B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Queen's University in 2009, and completed a Masters degree in Computer Science from Carleton University in 2011. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Waterloo, investigating approaches for improving performance evaluation through hardware performance counters.

Prof. Sebastian Fischmeister (sfischme@uwaterloo.ca): Sebastian Fischmeister received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in Computer Science at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria, in March 2000, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Salzburg, Austria in December 2002. He continued working at the University of Salzburg as researcher and lecturer and was awarded the Austrian APART stipend in 2005. He subsequently worked at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, as Post Graduate Research Associate until 2008. Sebastian Fischmeister is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
