Antonio Barbalace

Antonio Barbalace is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Systems Software Research Group in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Virginia Tech. His research interests include general-purpose and real-time operating systems, in particular, everything related to the Linux kernel, for parallel, distributed, and heterogeneous computer architectures. Together with Prof. Binoy Ravindran, he is leading the Popcorn project at Virginia Tech, which is exploring scalable OS techniques for multicore hardware.
