2014 Linux Symposium, July 14-16

Signing, verifying, and encrypting email has become a hot topic lately with the exposure of various government activities. Google recently released the source code for a chrome extension providing end-to-end encryption using OpenPGP. Keybase.io is an alpha startup providing a public directory of keys paired with unique usernames.

This meeting will provide both a traditional GPG keysigning (instructions to follow), as well as an opportunity to exchange keybase.io keys. Keybase is currently invitation only, however we have worked with Keybase.io to get invitations for interested Linux Symposium participants.
