Miika K.T. Komu
Miika Komu begun his postgraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering in Helsinki University of Technology (TKK/Aalto) after receiving his M.Sc. degree on the Fall of 2004. He has been a researcher in Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT) in Fuego Core and InfraHIP projects since 2002. He started his work in NordicHIP project in the Data Communications Software group on the Spring of 2010. Miikaâ€™s current research interest are in mobile devices, security, end-to-end connectivity, wireless communications, naming and APIs. He has been involved with IETF standardization for many years and developing and maintaining Host Identity Protocol for Linux (HIPL) software since year 2000.
Samu Varjonen received his M.Sc (2006) degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki, Finland. He is a PhD student at University of Helsinki. At the present he is working as a researcher in the Networking Research group at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology focusing on the Host Identity Protocol and trustworthy communication in distributed systems. He is active in the IETF standardization work of Host Identity Protocol. He is an adjunct member of Future Internet Graduate School (FIGS) since 2010.
