Community Travel Assistance Fund

We realize it is late to do this but we have started a travel fund to help people make it to the event who would otherwise not be able to in the current economic climate. The short version is that we are taking contributions by Paypal to and seeking out active contributors who should be at the event and offering travel assistance. Accommodations

The Holiday Inn Midtown is a 4-Star hotel located at 420 Sherbrook St. West and is only about a 5 minute walk from the Centre Mont-Royal.

We have arranged a discounted rate for attendees at only 109.99CAD (about 89USD)which is over 25% lower than their current best-rate and includes Internet Access.

Getting Downtown From Airport

We recommend that you use the L'Aerobus airport shuttle service which is only 25CAD return (about 20USD) or 15CAD one-way (about 12USD) the Shuttle Timetable is available on-line to help you plan your arrival/departure and you can make a Reservations Here to ensure that you have a seat waiting.

Charter Travel

The plan was to arrange bus/rail charters to Montreal but the numbers so far do not really warrant this. What we will be doing instead is trying to help people arrange carpooling from various cities to the Symposium.
