		The Linux Symposium is one of the foremost Linux and Open Source conferences in the world, bringing 
		together software developers, industry professionals and enthusiasts to discuss the latest emerging 
		technologies and ways to improve the functionality and integration of Linux and Open Source software.

		2008 marks the 10th anniversary of the conference and we are very excited about celebrating the 
		progress the Linux community has made in the past decade.  The conference will also focus on looking 
		towards the future of Linux and Open Source Development through groundbreaking presentations and 
		discussions.

		<h3>2009 Dates and Location</h3>
<p>The 2009 Linux Symposium will be held from July 13th to 17th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada at the Centre Mont-Royal a state of the art conference facility right in the heart of downtown Montreal.  We hope to have the new website and the CFP published any time now and will send out an announcement to everyone who has a registration account.</p>

We are pleased to announce the 10th Anniversary Linux Symposium will be held from July 23 ~ 26, 2008 in Ottawa, Canada.
The Symposium will also feature multiple keynote presentations, in depth tutorials, birds of a feather
sessions, papers on the most current topics in Linux, mini summits open to key Linux and Open
Source projects to be held in the day(s) before the conference and Open Source and speakers from outside the
industry who will share their experiences with Linux and Open Source and its impact.

The CFP for 2008 offers a lot of opportunities for submissions on a wide range of topics that are of interest
to the Linux and Open Source community.  We strongly encourage you to submit proposals on the topics listed
as well as any subject that you feel would be an interesting and informative addition to the schedule. You
