TOMOYO LinuxToshiharu Harada (haradats@nttdata.co.jp)TOMOYO Linux, an implementation of "manageable and understandable" mandatory access control for Linux 2.4/2.6 kernels, was developed by NTT DATA CORPORATION, Japan and it has been available under the GPL license since Nov. 2005. TOMOYO Linux reduces the burden of policy management by keeping track of process invocation history for every process and using each invocation history as a unit of access control zone. With TOMOYO Linux, administrators don't have to design the policy from scratch. Instead, they just enter commands and enable services just as needed. TOMOYO Linux also tackles the problem posed by pathname based access control. TOMOYO Linux makes all kinds of efforts to solve filesystem and permission related problems. Come and see how TOMOYO Linux solves these problems. | |||||
