Linux Networking and Device DriversJohn A. Ronciak (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Networking Linux machines can at one time be both an apparently easy and sometimes complex task. Developing device drivers for network cards also seems easy on the surface, but can be difficult in practice. This session will allow driver developers and users to get together to talk about networking. This BOF can be expected to have some deep technical discussion, and probably some basic questions about networking, although the hope is that some common device driver writer problems will be brought to the fore. In addition, any new networking technologies can be talked about as well. Like possible offloads for virtualization and multi-queue support.
