High-Availability Linux (Linux-HA) Birds of a Feather Meeting

The High-Availability Linux (Linux-HA) project is the oldest and most powerful open source high-availability clustering project with the largest associated community, operating around 30000 production clusters. The Linux-HA software runs on Linux and Linux-like operating systems, providing world-class availability management features comparable or superior to any high-availability package - commercial or open source.

The Linux-HA project can support single systems, allowing them to restart services on failure, two-node clusters, or moderately large clusters of multiple virtual or real machines.

Features being added in 2006 include cluster filesystem integration, control by CIM brokers and other external agents, tighter application integration, split-site (disaster recovery) capabilities, and an expert-level GUI, providing access to the full power of Linux-HA.

This meeting will connect Linux-HA developers and users together to talk about using Linux-HA, developing for it, upcoming features, releases and the future of Linux-HA.
