Problem Solving With Systemtap

Systemtap is becoming a useful tool to help solve low-level OS problems. We will update the community on the new features and current status of systemtap. We will present solutions to several complex low-level problems that bedevil kernel and application developers. We will motivate use of our (impending) support of statically inserted instrumentation as a complement to the dynamic kprobes system.
