The Netpoll API

Netpoll is a new 2.6 interface to allow bidirectional network communication in critical contexts like interrupts and panics. This allows networks to replace serial cables in various troublesome areas including capturing console messages and kernel debugging. This tutorial will explain how to use the netconsole and kgdb-over-ethernet netpoll clients, how to easily add netpoll support to a network driver, and how to use the API in your own clients.
