Debian Women: encouraging women without segregating!

The Debian Women project was founded in May 2004, it will promote women's involvement in Debian by increasing the visibility of active women, providing mentoring, role models and creating opportunities for collaboration with new and current members of the Debian Project. The goal of this meeting is present Debian Women to community, how the project began, our goals and how we are organized. A Question & Answer session is planned, after that I'm going to show some victories of Project, examples of what we can do together and  how to get involved.

Biography:
My name is Felipe Augusto van de Wiel (a.k.a faw), I'm a 22 years old System/Network Administrator that, at night, studies Computer Science at Paraná Federal University in Brazil. I'm involved with Free Software since 1998 and I'm contributing to Debian since 2003. I joined Debian Women in 2004, activelly working in Wiki Translations and also as a Mentor in their Mentoring Program.
