Call for Papers - Ottawa Linux Symposium 2003

July 23rd-26th, 2003

Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA

General Information

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 5th Annual Ottawa Linux Symposium (OLS).

OLS is a Linux kernel developers conference with a strong focus on emerging technologies, research projects, and works in progress. We also feature Userland infrastructure projects and invite contribution from both free software developers and those from commercial vendors.

The papers should be written with a very strong technical content bias. Papers and proposals of a business development or marketing nature are not appropriate for this venue.

    What to Submit

Authors must submit a one paragraph paper proposal. The proposal should cover the goal of the paper, and define the scope of the investigation.

Should your proposal be accepted you will need to submit a more concise formal abstract outlining the contents of your paper. Abstracts should not exceed one (1) paragraph in length.

Final papers must be submitted in LaTeX using the OLS Style template. Papers should be 8-10 pages in length once formatted.

    Publication

In the event that you miss one of the deadlines we reserve the right to revoke any offer to present your paper. We take having the paper for the conference proceedings very seriously and late submissions place an undue burden on our formatting team.
