Philipp Reisner

DRBD - disk mirroring via IP

Since the days of Linux 0.99p12 Philipp Reisner tries to stay involved with Linux in some way. During his time at University he wrote the mergemem kernel module, as diploma-thesis he arranged to work on online mirroring of hard disks via IP networks (DRBD).
In 2000 he received his MSC degree from the Vienna University of Technology.

In 2001 he has co-founded LINBIT, a Linux service company focused on high availability.

He has given talks at three Linux-Kongresses and at NLUUG's spring conference.
