Peter Bergner

Peter Bergner has been employed at IBM in Rochester, Minnesota since 1996. In addition to his current work of porting the Linux kernel to 64-bit PowerPC hardware platforms, he also works on compiler optimizations for the iSeries computer. He obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1997. His thesis work involved creating new spill code minimization techniques for graph coloring register allocators.
