The Gnome Canvas: a Generic Engine for Structured GraphicsThe Gnome canvas is a generic engine for structured graphics that offers a rich imaging model, high performance rendering, and a powerful high-level API. Application programmers are able to use the canvas to easily and quickly create interactive graphics displays.
Chris LaheyChris has been involved in the GNOME project since 1998 when he started work on his word processor Go. Since then he's contributed in a number of gnome modules including gedit, gimp, gnome-games, gnome-libs, gnome-print, and gnumeric.Since January, Chris has been employeed at Helix Code, Inc. He is one of the core developers of the evolution groupware suite. |
